There are numerous ways to earn passive income and I will show you more but the idea is to start with one and add as you go, I earn a small income as a writer of blogs with ad sense from google, nothing to brag about but in time who knows!?   
Some of the other programs that are good for business people would be to do their own blogs along with a merchandise or e commerce account to add marketing support to their main business.  A good example would be a friend of mine has a small boutique and if she had a merchandise account that sold her products as well as the e commerce account products and had a blog to boot she could clean up!!
